Downhole interface monitoring

Optical fiber downhole interface monitoring system is a system installed in the well, which monitors working fluid level in real time. This system may also be applied to monitor the position of axial interface in different density regions in which gas, oil or water exists. It may measure different kinds of interfaces distributed in axial direction in the well (from the wellhead to bottom), with an accuracy of 1 meter.

The instrument system may permanently set up in new well or during overhaul, installed in the annulus along with tubular
column (fixed in the coupling part of each pipeline through optical cable protector). Weilanshi offers sealing method that 

allows optical cable traverse packer, traversing method through the wellhead, and BOP plan. We also offers overall installation

 plan for horizontal well and inclined shaft.


  • Automatic operation: when the installation is finished, with the equipment set up in the equipment room near the wellhead,
    it will automatically monitor the operation, and upload real time data through network.
